Welcome

MISSION:  The Mission of the LJPS Library Media Center is to to create a 21st century learning environment that promotes learning for all students.  We accomplish this by providing access to quality information (digital and print), teaching information literacy skills and critical thinking skills, and encouraging lifelong learning.  The library media center is a place of collaborative and active learning that produces creative students who appreciate many genres of literature, who demonstrate critical thinking skills, and who have self-respect as well as respect for others.

OPERATIONAL INFORMATION: Students in grades K-2 may check out one book for one week. We do not charge overdue fines; however, students are unable to check out new books until the late book is returned. If a book becomes damaged or lost, it must be paid for before check-out privileges resume.
